At Japebo, we offer quality equipment for your hearing aid. On this page, we have gathered a large selection of ReSound Lex Domes, so do you need new domes for your hearing aid? Then you have come to the right place. A dome is required if you have a hearing aid with a receiver-in-ear (RIC) and this needs to be replaced from time to time. It is important that you find the right type of ReSound Domes that fits exactly your hearing aid and your ear canal, so you should take a look at our large selection.

ReSound Lex Domes ensure high comfort and functionality

A hearing aid dome is a small bell-shaped silicone cap that fits the ear canal. A dome sits at the end of the device’s tube and must seal the ear canal. It is therefore important that it fits properly to ensure both comfort and functionality. You can replace your Resound Lex Domes yourself if you find the size that fits your ear canals so that they block unwanted sound, so you get the most out of your hearing aid. You should change your domes every 2 or 3 months. When they are worn out, they lose the ability to close in on the ear completely, which impairs the sound amplification of the hearing aid. Therefore, you should also clean your domes every night.

Choose the right ReSound Lex Domes

ReSound Lex Domes are domes that protect the hearing aid and provide you with comfortable sound. There are various types of domes available, allowing you to find the perfect match for your ear canal. There are 4 different shaped domes: Standard, Open, Closed, Power, and Tulip domes. Furthermore, they are available in different sizes: Medium and Large:

  • Type M: 7 mm
  • Type L: 10 mm
  • Tulip-shaped: 10 mm
ReSound MIC domes are highly comfortable to wear as they are made from a soft and pleasant material that ensures a good fit in the ear. The material molds to the shape of your ear, providing a precise fit for your unique ear shape. The dome also acts as a protective barrier, preventing dirt and debris from entering the hearing aid. ReSound domes are transparent, making them very discreet.
The tulip-shaped dome offers a middle ground between an open and closed dome, providing a slightly more intense sound experience as it offers a tighter seal than the open dome. Depending on the size of your ear and your preference, you can easily try out different domes to find the ones that suit you best.
M and L are larger and open domes, preventing a blocked feeling in the ear canal. The M-dome can sit deeper in the ear. The L-dome is for those with larger ear canals. Both are equipped with air holes to ensure ventilation of the ear.

Domes should be replaced every 4 weeks for optimal protection of your ear, skin, and, most importantly, the hearing aid. Changing domes is easy.
