Unitron Domes 4.0 are domes for, e.g., Unitron Moxi D. The domes come in four different versions: Cap Dome for narrow ear canals, an open version, a closed version, and power domes with a double membrane.
All three types of domes come in 6, 8, and 10 mm in diameter, respectively.
Replacing domes ensures optimal sound quality and prevents eczema and discomfort in the ear canal. Domes should be replaced at least every 4 weeks or as needed.

The open dome is equipped with ventilation holes all over the dome, providing a very open sensation. This avoids occlusion and, at the same time, provides a free feeling in the ear canal. Open domes are best for mild hearing loss as the sound is brighter and less intense than other types.
The closed domes offer a more intense sound experience. They amplify the sound and are therefore ideal for people with moderate to severe hearing loss. To allow air into the ear canal, the closed domes also have small air holes.
Power domes provide the most intense sound experience and enhance the bass sound. The power dome is ideal for severe hearing loss as it amplifies the sound even more than the closed dome.
